Complete Diagnostic Evaluation Test
Includes: The Standard Test (F) above plus all
the options listed above.....$90 |
Please Note: A water pH value between 6.5 and 9.0
is considered optimum for fish ponds. If your water analysis
result was less than 6.5, the addition of agricultural lime
(CaCO3) will have several benefits,
such as: increase the pH of the bottom mud, which will
increase the availability of phosphorus/nutrients for plant
and animal production; and help to buffer the pond water to
prevent extreme fluctuations of pH levels.
Even distribution of the lime is important because we are
actually trying to lime the bottom mud and not the water.
If you want to know how much Ag Lime to use, please
follow these instructions: Collect soil from 8 to 10 areas
throughout the pond from a boat using a can on the end of a
pole. Mix the sample thoroughly, and allow it to dry. Then
submit 1 -2 cups for the following evaluation and be sure to
label it as a pond sample.
